JENNY
SAISQUOI

WHAT GIVES JENNY HER 'JE NE SAIS QUOI'

In 2024, Jenny held her first drag performance, where she wowed the audience by rapping live half way through a lip-sync to Nicki Minaj's smash hit 'Anaconda'. Jenny's name came from an unusual place. In 2017 she lost sight in one of her eyes due to a rare form of arthritis, because of this she started her journey under the name 'Eyeconic' but felt it didn't feel right. Suddenly whilst out shopping, in full drag, it came to her. 'Jenny Saisquoi' a fusion of Jenny from Forest Gump and 'Je Ne Sais Quoi' a French word meaning 'I don't know' or 'a quality which cannot be described'. The Jenny part came from a dark place in her life. After her father suffered a stroke in 2010 he was frequently compared to Forest Gump so as a sign of rebellion she chose Jenny and Jenny Saisquoi was born.

Jenny doesn't like to play safe when it comes to her drag, she draws inspiration from pop culture, subculture and decade defining fashion to create looks like command attention and stand out from the crowd.

The Face Dress

Jenny Saisquoi

A daring outfit Inspired by the 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and Lady Gaga's meat dress. Jenny wanted to reinvent and blend ideas to create a unique dress made out of the faces of drag queens. This dress is made from liquid latex and makeup. Her makeup was inspired by 'Leatherface' and 'Trixie Mattel'

Karma Chameleon

Jenny Saisquoi

Breaking all the rules of being a drag queen, Jenny dared to become an androgynous drag king to honour one of her icons. Jenny wanted to create an outfit as close as possible to 'Boy George's' outfit in 'Karma Chameleon'. This outfit was a love letter to George, the 80's and Blitz Kids culture.

Meat Dress

Jenny Saisquoi

Based on Lady Gaga's iconic meat dress. Jenny took a stance against wearing leather, fur and clothes made from animals by creating a vegetarian friendly 'meat' dress. Showing there is no difference between wearing 'raw meat' and clothes made from animals. A different message from the original with the same impact.
