INEVITABILITY
Neither becoming nor disappearing, suspended in the inevitable.

In Inevitability, pale forms are suspended on slender stems above a simple wooden base. The structure appears to be breaking down: the elements of a once more complex body have separated, leaving only a basic matrix behind. That matrix recalls an early stage of formation, but the work is moving in reverse.
Complexity has been stripped away. What remains is not an untouched beginning, but the residue of what has already existed: a fragile framework returning almost to its point of origin. The stems hold the fragments in a suspended state, caught between what the Golem was and what remains. Its form has not vanished, but it can no longer hold together as a whole.
Here, inevitability is the pull of that return. The work moves towards its beginnings through disintegration, carrying the traces of its previous form as it goes.
